Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect in the initial session?

Most people are a little nervous or anxious when arranging a first therapy session. This is entirely normal, as you are not only meeting your potential therapist for the first time. But you will also be sharing things about yourself and your life that you may usually keep hidden from others and don't talk about.

In the first session we will explore together what brings you to therapy, the themes you would like to address, and how therapy can help you. There will also be time for you to ask questions, and for me to explain the terms and conditions of service, such as confidentiality and agreeing together on a regular weekly session time.

All sessions are currently online.

How long is a session?

All  sessions are 50 minutes long.

If we agree in advance on a longer session, this will be charged at a higher rate.

What is the fee structure?

If you are self-funding, the fee is £100 per session.

For the self-care package only, block bookings are available:

  • Pay a block of six sessions and save 10%.

  • Block bookings are payable in advance, and non-refundable.
